Adrian Look was born in Oberhausen in the north west of Germany in October of 1983.

After graduating from high school he studied dance at the Folkwang University in Essen which is well known for playing a big part for the development of dance theater in Germany and Europe through great choreographers and dancers like Pina Bausch, Reinhild Hoffmann and Susanne Linke.

During his education he taught various dance groups and gave workshops in contemporary dance, ballet and improvisation. He made his first stage experience at the Stadttheater Bocholt and was voted best “talented young dancer” by the journal Theater Pur  in 2009.

After his graduation, he was a member of the Dance Theatre Company in Bielefeld (Germany) from the season 2009/2010 – 2011/2012.

Adrian danced in choreographies of Gregor Zöllig, Urs Dietrich, Stephan Brinkmann, Guilherme Bothelho, Simone Sandroni and Rainer Behr and choreographed several  own pieces.

In 2013 he worked as a freelance dancer in Germany and Switzerland and a choreographed for a community project with 100 dancers.
